Fiction -- "Pros: I really enjoyed working with this freelancer. She was friendly, cost-effective, and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. She handles herself very professionally. She proofread my fairly clean manuscript and found plenty of typos and confusing sentences that I had missed. Cons: I would recommend her for authors who are fairly confident in their own grammar skills and need a second set of eyes to search for and flag problem areas, and who are working within a limited budget. You will need to be able to assess if her corrections are accurate, but even when I didn't accept her corrections, there was usually a problem that needed to be addressed, so my manuscript was much improved as a result of her work!! Ultimately, I accepted about 90% of her corrections without further revision, and about 9.9% of the remaining edits led to revisions that vastly improved the finished product. Considering the budget she was working within, and how fast the turnaround was, you can't do better than that! I would definitely recommend her to my fellow independent authors who are just getting started and working within a budget. :)"
